Corners and Edges Honoring its new home, Robert La Roche designed and manufactured new sunglasses. These sunglasses mirror the new building by the choice of materials and combine exquisite materials with clear shapes. The MP09 sunglasses combine for the first time ever two exquisite materials: buffalo horn and titanium.

The materials are hand crafted, finished and assembled in Austria. Buffalo horn, which is characterized by its skin compatibility and light weight, as well as its subtle and smooth elegance, is used with a high gloss polished finish. Titanium, a material from aerospace, also provides excellent skin compatibility and adds extreme light weight and strength. The polarized glass has multiple layers of non-reflective coating to neutralize unwanted reflections and glare.

This was clearly the first choice for this edition. An exclusive Italian manufacturer produces the leather case, which is intended for very day use. The MP09 also comes with a high end, hand crafted Makassar-Ebony wood box, which can be used as a show case on a desk or just as an appropriate home for the glasses. The result are high end sunglasses, which – like the new Group HQ – convince with corners and edges, hard and soft contours, extraordinary material combinations and uncompromising attention to detail.
