The young designer Christoph Rumpf from Graz, based in Paris, inspires the fashion world with his opulent creations made from vintage fabrics, he has been hailed by many as the future of Austrian fashion. In 2019, he won the main prize at the 34th Hyères International Festival for Fashion and Photography and opened the Berlin Fashion Week. His opulent creations made from vintage fabrics are setting new goals for sustainability and what modern design should be going forward.
To blur the lines between eyewear and couture, we brought the fashion genius on board for an exclusive, showstopping collaboration with Robert La Roche: a classic acetate collection with six models. All glasses are available in four colors and two of these models are limited to 100 pieces each. The limited edition collection is a radical statement and fuses contemporary design with timeless artisanship to result in a cutting edge array of glasses that has the fashion world swooning.
The collection knows how to attract attention with their massive, geometric shape and self-confident opulence. This is how expressive eyewear models were created for style-conscious free spirits. Rumpf took inspiration from a variety of personalities, all with a distinct sense of style and famous for their prominent eyewear. Think eccentric gallerists, British Vogue editorin- chief Edward Enninful, Hollywood legend Liz Taylor or actor and fashion icon Jeff Goldblum.
With subtle charm and timeless elegance, the Design Liaison Robert La Roche + Christoph Rumpf collection underlines the personality and gives every moment the touch of something special. Much like Rumpf’s clothing line, the category is opulence. Farewell to the age of understated, simplistic frames – the future is big, bold and beautiful.
